Open 10am - 11pm

Hām is a casual, friendly, local restaurant offering simple but imaginative modern British food, cooked in a way that allows the quality of ingredients to shine.

Ham is Inspired by a shared passion for good food and interesting wine. Our aim is to be a fantastic neighborhood restaurant, to give something original to the area, to provide a comfortable, vibrant, homely environment: the kind of place we want in our local neighborhood.

Meat

Our meat at Ham is supplied from Lake District Farmers, a farming cooperative whose mission in life is to provide tasty, native-breed, free-range, pasture fed, dry aged meat sourced from small farmers who care.

Lake district farmers supply premium quality meat sourced from their collective of 50 farmers all of whom care deeply about the land, the local community and their produce

Priding themselves on respect for the animals farmed and a desire to be sustainable and practicing traditional farming techniques that are used by so few these days.

Their meat is free-range, as chemical free as possible, preferably rare and native breed, pasture-fed and sourced directly from their farmers so we always have a full supply chain history.

Poultry

At Fosse Meadows they believe that sustainable and organic farming of their birds and the greater welfare they enjoy makes them taste better when they get to our plates.

The farm uses the traditional free range method with small flocks kept outside in the meadows. They are fed on a corn feed diet without additives and are slow reared for 81 days. Happy birds taste better!

Fish

All our fish at Ham is extremely fresh and most arrives at Ham within hours of being caught.

Our smoked salmon comes from Lambton and Jackson who source the salmon from farms off the coast of the Shetland Isles. Salmon from the Shetlands are particularly well-suited for smoking as the tidal conditions give them lean physiques which are perfect for the smoking process. The salmon is smoked by hand at Lambton and Jacksons’ home in the foodie hub of Maldon, long famous for its salt and oysters.

Our crab is supplied by Hendersons Seafoods and caught fresh daily off the Devon coast, boiled in brine on the boat and arrives fresh on your plate at Ham less than 24 hours after it was caught.

Our whole fish is caught fresh daily off the Cornish coast and supplied by Flying Fish who pride themselves on ‘Ship to Plate in 48’ hours.

Dairy

Our Milk and Butter comes from Ivy House Farm and Dairy in Beckington, Somerset. This family run farm was established in 1982 and is fully certified organic.

We believe you can taste in their Milk and Butter the care and attention that they put into farming their herd and the hand made Ivy House butter is to die for.

Bread

At Hām we source delicious sourdough bread with a perfect crunch comes from the amazing Margot’s bakery which is round the corner in East Finchley

Fruit and Vegetables

Our primary supplier of fruit and vegetables is Natoora. At Natoora they are dedicated to delivering the most flavoursome fresh and seasonal vegetables from sustainable farmers who minimize intervention with the crops.

They work with farmers who share their ethos in terms of a passion for quality and flavour and a commitment to farming the land responsibly. Farmers like the Tomlinsons of Pudsey in Yorkshire who have produced beautiful Rhubarb in the Yorkshire Rhubarb triangle for four generations.
